Gen. John W. Vessey Jr. (U.S. Army, Ret.) '63 Passing
Gen. John W. Vessey Jr. (U.S. Army, Ret.)—a 1963 graduate of UMUC, the first chair of the University's Board of Visitors, and the 10th chair of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff—passed away last month at his home in North Oaks, Minnesota. He was 94.
