UMUC Alumnus Named Chief of City of Fairfax Fire Department
UMUC alumnus John O’Neal ’96 became the chief of the City of Fairfax Fire Department in January. With more than 30 years of experience, O’Neal brings with him an extensive background as both a fire fighter and a paramedic.

UMUC Alumna to Serve as President and CEO of Maryland Chamber of Commerce
UMUC alumna Christine Ross ’06 and ’08 will serve as the next Maryland Chamber of Commerce President and Chief Executive Officer.  Ross currently serves as the President and CEO of the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce and the Bonita Springs Estero Economic Development Council in Florida.
